How Lightning Dice Works

The game’s rules are simple - the host drops three six-sided dice into a transparent tower maze, and you predict the total sum of the three dice once they have stopped at the bottom.

You can win anywhere from 5x to 150x your stake if you predict correctly, and the lightning multipliers can can boost your payout up to 1000x.

Lightning Dice Multipliers

Once the betting has closed in each round, lightning multipliers strike one or more random numbers on the betting grid. Multipliers range from 5x to 1000x. If you get a multiplier on your chosen number, your potential returns can be huge.

Not every number can receive the same multiplier. The multipliers are as follows:

• 3 & 18 can get between 149:1 - 999:1
• 4 & 17 can get between 49:1 - 499:1
• 5 & 16 can get between 24:1 - 249:1
• 6 & 15 can get between 14:1 - 99:1
• 7 & 14 can get between 9:1 - 99:1
• 8 & 13 can get between 6:1 - 49:1
• 9 & 12 can get between 5:1 - 49:1
• 10 & 11 can get between 4:1 - 49:1

Lightning Dice Payouts

In Lightning Dice, the payout depends on the probability of the result, with some numbers more likely than others. There are 216 possible combinations from three dice - the 10, for example, 10 has 27 different combos, whereas a 4 can only appear in 3 combos - the payouts reflect these odds.

Lightning Dice RTP (Return To Player)

If you only bet on the 3 and 18, then the optimal return to player (RTP) is 96.21%. The rest of the numbers average between 96.03% - 96.21%.

Lightning Dice Strategy

Lightning Dice is a game of chance, no strategy can guarantee wins. However, there are several methods you can employ to extend your playtime.

High or low

If you place a bet on either low (3-9) or high (12-18), you can cover a lot of possibilities, and you should be able to win around 50% of the time.

Play it safe

The best value numbers are 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13. These numbers can receive up to 50x lightning multipliers, and their base payouts are decent. Theoretically, you only need to hit one of these numbers every 7 rounds to break even. If you hit more than that, you could make a nice profit.

Go big or go home

Place a bet on 3 or 18. Although they have the lowest probability, they have the highest payouts and are the only numbers that can get the 1000x lightning multiplier.

Avoid bet all

This is a surefire way to drain your bankroll. Although you will win, covering all the numbers will cost more than you win in the long run. It's best to avoid the bet all button.

Spread the risk

Split your wagers across common and rare numbers. For example, place a bet on either 8 or 13, 9 or 12, and 10 or 11, and a bet on 3 or 18. The first three bets have a good chance of coming in, and you are covered just in case the 1000x multiplier lands.
